Service Standards
Commercial carpet cleaning is guided by published industry standards. Here is the guidance that informs how we describe and evaluate encapsulation cleaning on this site.
Industry Guidance We Reference
CRI (Carpet and Rug Institute)
The Carpet and Rug Institute publishes testing and certification programs for carpet cleaning products and equipment, including its Seal of Approval / Green Label programs referenced throughout the commercial cleaning industry.
CRI 204
CRI 204 is the Carpet and Rug Institute’s industry guideline for commercial carpet maintenance, covering recommended cleaning frequency and methods based on soil level and traffic.
ANSI/IICRC S100
ANSI/IICRC S100 is the American National Standard for professional cleaning of textile floor coverings, published by the IICRC, covering procedures, safety, and quality expectations for carpet cleaning.
IICRC
The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (IICRC) develops standards and offers training/certification for cleaning and restoration professionals.
Referencing these standards describes the guidance that informs our service descriptions — it is not a claim of certification or endorsement by CRI or IICRC unless stated otherwise elsewhere on this site.
